Admission costs are taken at the time of booking using our online booking system. The online booking system refers to the admission costs as the “deposit“
Admission does not include food and drink
The minimum age for admission to Opening Hours or Quiet Hours is 11 years old. This is for the welfare of our rescue cats, which is our highest priority. We cannot make exceptions to this. If the young person in your group looks younger than 11 years old you may be asked to provide proof of age. If you make a booking with a child that is younger than age 11, you would unfortunately be refused entry without refund. This does include babies.
There must be a ratio of at least one adult, to two children per booking.
Those aged 11-16 must visit with an adult.
We offer Educational Sessions for Young Cat Lovers that are aged 5-10, please see the events page for the upcoming dates.
We are not a suitable venue for children's birthday parties
Our Ground Floor is fully accessible with a disabled toilet. If someone in your group uses a wheelchair, please call the venue direct to make a booking, as the space is limited so we must manage bookings carefully.
Our Cafe has a ground floor, and a first floor. If you would prefer to be seated downstairs, but are not a wheelchair user, please note this in the comments of your booking so that we can ensure that you are seated downstairs.
We offer a 50% discount on admission prices for carers upon proof, and can issue a full itemised receipt for those needing to claim costs back. Please call us to make a booking for carers.
We offer Quiet Hour for those who may benefit from a quieter environment. During these times the music is lowered, we ensure that staff talk very quietly, and the coffee is pre-ground to prevent any sudden loud noises. The capacity is capped very low at only 18 people. Quiet Hours are Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays 11-12.

If you need to change the day/time of your booking, this can be done depending on availability, providing there is 48 hours notice given. Please call the venue direct to arrange this.
Please do not use the online booking system to add more people to an existing booking. Please call the venue.
Refunds can be given only if the Cafe has been provided with one week's notice that you can no longer attend.
Refunds can not be given where less than a week's notice has been provided, or in the case of no shows of full groups, or some guests within a group.
The cats at the Cafe are free to roam the venue as they please, and they can choose to be upstairs in the Cat Apartment where no public can access, whenever they want. We do not force the cats to interact in any way, and cannot guarantee that you will see a specific cat on any given day.
There are House Rules to adhere to while visiting such as not feeding the cats, not picking them up, no chasing them or shouting at them. The House Rules must be followed by all guests to the Cafe. If a guest refused to follow the House Rules, they would be asked to leave without refund.
We currently serve hot and cold drinks, and cake at the cafe. We have Vegan and low gluten options available.
